Lewis Steel Building

In 2012, CCM purchased this development site consisting of roughly 27,000 sf of land and 75,000 of gross buildable square feet located in Bushwick. The existing buildings which include a church, a four story former middle school building as well as a 15,000 sf vacant land parcel will be converted to 99 resi- dential units. CCM plans on retaining the existing structures including the church and the school which will be retrofitted with apartments. The church with it’s striking green spire, originally opened in 1892 and is a historically significant property in Brooklyn. After its completion the total size of the project will consist of 90,000 gross square feet including parking area.

CCM along with it’s partner, Jacob Toll purchased this former steel factory site in 2010. It is a mixed use residen- tial and retail development project in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. Upon completion, there will be 83 residential units, 42 parking spaces 20,000 square feet of retail space comprising a total of 110,000 square feet of usable area. The top floor units will include duplexes and gas fire places. The building will feature amenities such as a common roof deck, barbecue pit, sun deck, roof deck bocce court and vegetable garden.
