Formerly an auto parts supplier, 600 Bushwick Avenue will be developed into a 70,000sf mixed-use building with 64 residential units & retail space at grade. Construction will begin in 2015, with delivery estimated for 2017.
In 2012, CCM purchased this development site consisting of roughly 27,000sf of land and 75,000 of gross buildable square feet located in Bushwick. The existing buildings which include a church, a four story former middle school building as well as a 15,000 sf vacant land parcel will be converted to 99 residential units. CCM plans on retaining the existing structures including the church and the school which will be retrofitted with apartments. The church originally opened in 1892 and is a historically significant property in Brooklyn. CCM completed its assemblage of this block long portfolio in prime North Williamsburg in early 2015. The properties combine to take up all parcels along Wythe Avenue between North 10th and North 11th and run midway down the block toward Berry Street. CCM will begin the development of the property in 2015 with the construction of a 100,000sf office tower.
