JACOB L. SACKS

PRINCIPAL

Mr. Sacks and co-founder Mr. Wiseman started CCM with their first small multi-family rental building purchase in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. After leveraging that purchase into several more properties, they began full time operations in 2007 and have grown into a firm with over $800 million of real estate in Brooklyn and Queens. From June 2001 to April 2007, Jacob was a Vice President at U.S. Realty Advisors, LLC, a private real estate investment firm with $3 billion of real estate under management. Jacob has over five years of experience in real estate financial modeling, credit analysis, transaction execution and asset management. Prior to joining USRA, Jacob worked as an investment banker, most recently in the Transportation & Logistics Corporate Finance Group of ING Barings. While at ING, Jacob worked on a variety of transactions including debt and equity issuance, mergers and acquisitions, and private placements. Jacob holds NASD series 7 and 63 licenses. Jacob earned a B.A. in Economics and a Master of Engineering in Operations Research/Financial Engineering from Cornell University.

JAMES P. WISEMAN

PRINCIPAL

Mr. Wiseman and co-founder Mr. Sacks started CCM with their first small multi-family rental building purchase in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. After leveraging that purchase into several more properties, they began full time operations in 2007 and have grown into a firm with over $800 million of real estate in Brooklyn and Queens. From 2006 to 2007, James was Associate Counsel at Strategic Value Partners, LLC, a Greenwich, CT-based investment adviser with over $6 billion under management that specializes in special situations and real estate investment, particularly in the U.S., Germany, Japan and India. While at SVP, James led the legal and operational roll-out of the private equity/real estate businesses where he worked on over $1 billion of real estate acquisitions globally. From 2003 to 2005, James was an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, a private law firm where he specialized in investment fund formation, administration and capital-raising activities where he advised leading private equity firms including Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, Oaktree Capital Management and Harbourvest. From 2000 to 2003, James was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where he focused on private equity based mergers and acquisition transactions. James earned a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Cornell University and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School where he was a John M. Olin Scholar in Law and Economics.


Development Team


CHRIS RANDS

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Mr. Rands joined CCM in 2017 and is responsible for the overall management and delivery of all active and planned development projects.  Chris has over 15 years of real estate development experience; serving owners, developers, and construction managers in a variety of industry sectors.  His skill set includes management of all phases of commercial and high-rise residential developments, from project inception through design, procurement, construction, occupancy, and close-out.  Prior to joining CCM, Chris worked for The Related Companies, Ernst & Young, and Turner Construction.  While at Related, Chris helped manage over $4 billion of new construction on the Hudson Yards project in Manhattan, New York.  At Ernst & Young, Chris was a Manager consulting on numerous large-scale capital projects, including acting as owner’s representative for a new 750,00SF Class A office tower in Newark, NJ.  At Turner, Chris performed roles as Project Manager, Engineer, Superintendent, Estimator, and Purchasing Agent for several multi-million dollar ground up construction projects in San Diego, CA.  Chris holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University, and a MBA in Real Estate Finance & Investment from DePaul University in Chicago.

GREG MAURO

DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER

Mr. Mauro joined CCM in 2017 and is responsible for delivering commercial, residential and mixed-use development projects including both ground up and major renovations.  Greg has over 8 years of experience with large scale real estate and construction projects.  Prior to joining CCM, Greg worked for Clark Construction in their project management and preconstruction departments.  Greg was a project engineer on a $350 million office and laboratory project where he was responsible for day-to-day management of several trades.  In the preconstruction department, Greg budgeted and estimated a variety of projects including office, residential, and mixed use. Greg also worked in Ernst & Young’s Construction Real Estate Advisory practice where he provided owners representatives services for the construction of a 750,000SF Class A office, retail, and parking structure development project.  Greg holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Real Estate from Cornell University. 

JULIAN RUSSELL

DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER

Mr. Russell joined CCM in 2017 and is responsible for driving the successful delivery of active development projects.  Julian has over 10 years’ experience working with multi-national design and construction firms where he has developed technical and commercial skills across all phases of projects.  Prior to joining CCM, Julian was employed as a Project Engineer within the AECOM Urban Design Group before joining McConnell Dowell Constructors to work on large scale construction projects across a variety of industries in Australia.  Julian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

ANNA JUSTICE

DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATOR

Ms. Justice joined CCM in 2017 and is responsible for providing support to the development team. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Anna has over seven years of experience working in NYC rentals and sales, Value Add real estate development, and expediting. During her past employment, Anna formed and managed valuable relationships with various city agencies (e.g., DOB, DOT, FDNY, HPD, DEP, DOF), which led to a more efficient approval process. At CCM, Anna oversees a few development projects and acts as the liaison between the commercial tenants, the architects, engineers, general contractors, expeditors, and attorneys, and is responsible for in-house expediting and filing processes. Anna is a Real Estate Licensed Salesperson with certifications in Project Management and Construction Management, and is the REBNY Deal of the Year Winner of 2014. Anna holds an MA in English and Education from Moscow State University, an MBA in Marketing from San Diego University for Integrative Studies, and an MS in Real Estate from NYU.


Property Management


RYAN KRAMER  

HEAD OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Mr. Kramer joined CCM in 2013 as an Analyst. He now manages CCM's expanding commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate portfolio comprising of over 450 apartments and over 450,000 square feet of retail, commercial, office, and community facility space in various stages of development, renovation, construction and operation. Among Mr. Kramer's responsibilities are residential and commercial leasing, compliance with various governing agencies, violation removal, repairs and maintenance, renovations and capital improvements. He graduated from Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business in the Bronx with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Value Investing.

Kevin Spillane

Analyst

Mr. Spillane joined CCM in March 2019 as a Property Management Analyst. He previously worked in the Public Services Department of the Middle Country Public Library handling e-commerce and database operations. Mr. Spillane graduated from CUNY Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Investments.

Luis Mesa

Analyst

Mr. Mesa joined CCM in May, 2019 as a Property Management Analyst. He previously worked for Pfizer as an Account Analyst where he handled the budgeting and forecasting for the Project Management Department of the organization. Mr. Mesa graduated from CUNY Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Investments.


ACQUISITIONS & INVESTOR RELATIONS


ALAN TADIAN

HEAD OF INVESTOR RELATIONS, ACQUISITIONS, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Mr. Tadian joined CCM in April 2018 and is responsible for business development, capital raising, and providing reporting and support to CCM’s investors while also assisting with acquisition sourcing.  Prior to joining CCM, Alan covered General Industrials within the Equity Research division at Jefferies, a multinational investment bank and financial services company. Alan graduated from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance and is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Investments at NYU. Alan holds NASD series 7, 63, 86 and 87 licenses. Alan is originally from Metro Detroit.

JOHN LITHEN

HEAD OF ACQUISITIONS

Mr. Lithen is responsible for acquisition sourcing & underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution and deal capitalization at CCM. John's other responsibilities include asset management for select multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial properties under development and management within CCM's existing portfolio. John received a B.A. from SUNY Geneseo and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. 


Accounting


ADAM GEFFNER

ACCOUNTING

Mr. Geffner joined CCM in October 2017 after ten years of working for City Elevator as their Director of Finance. Prior to that, he held the role as controller for a real estate law firm in midtown Manhattan for eleven years. He has over twenty five years of experience running the day to day operations and finance departments within various organizations in the real estate industry. Adam received his B.S. in General Business from Western New England University.

JIAXIN ZHANG 

ACCOUNTING

Ms. Zhang graduated from NYU Stern School of Business, majoring in Accounting.  She joined CCM in 2016 as a Staff Accountant. In her role, she fully supports the CFO in financial reporting and general financial functions. Prior to joining CCM, Jiaxin was the Financial Analyst of Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc., where she oversaw the accounts payable functions and supported the monthly financial closing, year-end auditing, as well as other financial reporting packages.

JAIME EISENBERG

ACCOUNTING

Ms. Eisenberg is a senior accountant at CCM where she is responsible for the budget administration of the various real estate projects.  Prior to joining CCM, Jaime worked as a Staff Accountant at XpressSpa, where she gained knowledge of the retail industry.  Jaime has also worked for the NYC Economic Development Corporation, where she worked closely with the Asset Management Team and oversaw billing for the tenants, worked on month and year end closings, quarterly analysis reporting, and gained knowledge of the real estate industry.  Jaime graduated from CUNY Queens College with a major in Accounting and Information Systems and a minor in Business and Liberal Arts ("BALA").

Sitong Wu

ACCOUNTING

Ms. Wu joined CCM in December 2018 and is responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Insurance. Before joining CCM, Ms. Wu worked as a Relationship Banker at Bank of China, the fourth largest bank in the world. She maintained a portfolio of 400 clients, including corporations, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities. She also gained a wide array of accounting and tax knowledge working as a licensed Tax Professional at VITA.  She graduated from Baruch College, CUNY, with a major in Accounting and also holds an Economics degree from Hebei Finance University.
